Caribbean Draw Poker
Caribbean Draw Poker is a relatively new addition to the selection of casino poker games that are available to play online and this version can be found at
Bodog Poker.
Caribbean Draw Poker is a very easy to play 5 card poker game and it is you playing against the dealer. To begin the game you will have to place an Ante bet, and once you do this
you will then receive a hand.
Using you skill and judgement you will have to decide whether your hand is strong enough and that you would like to take on the Dealer's hand.
Just one of the Dealer's cards will be on show, face up so make sure that your 5 card poker hand is a good one!
If you feel that your hand is too weak to beat the dealers then you are free to fold your hand and by doing so you will forfeit and therefore lose your Ante bet.
Should however you opt to bet against the dealers hand then will be given the opportunity to swap any two of your cards when you raise your bet.
But be aware that once you raise your bet then the dealer is also given the option to exchange two cards.
To win the hand takes two obligations you must not only beat the Dealer's hand but the Dealer must also qualify and this is done by your hand having in it a pair of eight's or better.
Should the dealers hand not qualify, you will be paid out at odds of 1 to 1 on your Ante and your Raise bet will be returned to you as a push.
However should your hand beat the dealer's hand and the dealer qualifies then you will be paid on the Ante and your Raise. The payout of your Ante bet will be 1 to 1.
Your payout for your bet will be determined by the strength of your hand.
You will lose both your Ante and your bet if the dealers hand is stronger than your hang and in the event that you and the dealer both have the same hand, then the next highest card
will determine who the winner is.
By placing an additional side bet you could win the progressive jackpot, Bodogs' Caribbean Draw Poker game shares an ever rising jackpot with the Caribbean Holdem and Stud games
which allows the jackpot to accumulate quickly.
